Arts Partner
The Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts has provided arts expertise to ADL for this project. This includes assembling jury and overseeing the artist selection process, curatorial support to artists, installation assistance, and more.
The funding that this project will raise to support ADL’s ongoing work will have a transformational effect on the organization. Funding may be used to increase ADL’s capacity, effectiveness, and reach:
- 1. Increase the number of programs offered in the Plains States Region by adding programs such as ADL’s Miller Early Childhood Initiative, Bearing Witness, and increasing the breadth of local law enforcement trainings.
- 2. Hiring additional staff to manage ADL’s growing No Place for Hate® campaign
- 3. Create an internship program to provide assistance in some of the following ways:
- • Policy & Legislative Monitoring;
- • Media and Marketing Development;
- • Fundraising and Development Support;
- • Creating Supportive Educational Materials;
- • Evaluation Techniques and Procedures
- 4. Grow ADL’s pool of trained facilitators by sending new people to Train the Trainer conferences
- 5. Funding for an ongoing public awareness campaign.
- 6. Expand Typecast | Recast programming into No Place for Hate® schools.
